Dear Father Jacques:

We, the Pastoral Council of St. Augustine Catholic Church, submitted a letter to Archbishop Hughes on February 17 th, 2006 requesting that he meet with us for the purpose of good faith and open communication. However, at that time, we were unaware of the appropriate protocol in which we should have sent in our request. We are seeking to meet with you along with Archbishop Hughes to inform you about the plans in progress at St. Augustine. A copy of the letter to Archbishop Hughes has been attached for your review. We believe that the statements declared in the attached letter are of equal importance to you.
